Jax has had the BEST day today learning with @natalieanneboss and even got his little fireman certificate at Lumiere from Nat 🥹 he looked at it the whole way home, so proud of himself 🥹🥹💜

Seeing him happy while learning is everythingggg 🥹🩵

And we will do everything we can for him, always. For Jax and for every child like him who deserves to be included, understood, supported and given a chance.

@estellesuniverse will be delivering the Yoga Bears 200HR training pathway right here at Lumiere, Liverpool, from 12–16 October 2026.

How special that Lumiere gets to be the place where even more people learn how to bring Yoga Bears to the children who need it most. 🧸🌙💜

William is making history as the first wheelchair user to become Lord Mayor in Liverpool’s 816 year civic history and what a powerful message that sends to our children 💜

Natalie… where do we even start with you? 🥹💜

Nat has been part of our Lumiere journey for around 6 months now, and although we already knew what an amazing person she was, we never knew just how important she would become to this next chapter.

Not long after Nat joined us, Jax couldn’t attend school for reasons I wouldn’t wish on any child🥹 And through everything, one thing became even clearer… our children deserve more.

And now, as our provision becomes a reality… 🥹💜

Honestly, I couldn’t think of anyone better to be at the heart of it.

Nat has over 20 years of teaching experience and more qualifications than anyone I know 😂 Her knowledge and understanding of education is incredible.

But most importantly, she has the heart.

She’s also a twin mum to two beautiful boys, both autistic and ridiculously intelligent, so I genuinely don’t know where she finds the time for it all tbh!😂🥹

She understands our children. She understands that every child learns differently, and she knows how to bring out the very best in every child, making them feel capable, confident and proud of who they are.

I already know she is going to be THE BEST teacher at Lumiere🥹

Anyone who knows Nat will understand exactly what I mean, and for those who haven’t met her yet… just wait😂💜

Nat, we are SO, SO grateful for you.

A HUGE thank you to the Eleanor Rathbone Foundation for supporting us and helping make these sessions possible. 🫶💜

We also teamed up with @guidedogsnw and delivered a really special session for children with visual impairments creating an experience designed around them, their needs and their way of exploring the world. 🐾💜

AND we launched our Low Mobility Sessions too! Thank you @jmw_solicitors 💜

Giving children with lower mobility the opportunity to come along, have fun, play, move at their own pace and most importantly… & feel included. 🥹🫶

We LOVE being able to create experiences like these.

Our paths in life were once so far apart until our now not so little boy Jaxon came along. He changed us as sisters, brought us closer as a family and without even knowing it started a whole new chapter for us both 🥺

Who would have thought all those years ago that life would bring us here and Lumiere would become such a huge part of our story 🩷

You’ll be up at 6am calling me asking if I’ve done what I said I was going to do 😂 Sometimes I say “I’m busy” before you’ve even asked because I already know what the phone call is about😂

This is our boy, Jaxon.

Our whole world. The little boy who changed everything for our family and showed us what was missing.

He showed us why families like ours needed Lumiere. 💜

And these are my girls, Melody and Valentina.

Jaxon has additional needs . His sisters don’t.

But they are ALL my babies.

Recently, we’ve seen the word “normal” used a lot when talking about children who aren’t disabled, and it’s really made us think.

Because what does “normal” actually mean?

Are my girls “normal” because they don’t have a disability?

And if they are, what does that make Jaxon?

We know people don’t always mean any unkindness by the word. Sometimes it’s simply language people have always used.

But words matter. 💜

I have never looked at my children and seen one as normal and another as different.

I see three beautiful children. Three different personalities. Three little people with their own strengths, needs, challenges and magic.

That is why Lumiere exists.

A place where disabled children are thought about first. Where families don’t have to explain, apologise or worry about whether their child will be understood.

And yes, siblings belong too.

My girls have grown up alongside their brother. They deserve those memories with him.

Creating a space centred around disabled children doesn’t mean other children matter any less.

It simply means recognising that disabled children deserve spaces where their needs are considered first.

So when you see Lumiere, remember the family behind it.

One disabled. Two not.

But all three equally loved.
All three equally important.
All three belonging. 💜

One visit to Lumiere became another, familiar faces became friends, and before we even realised it, we’d become one big family. 🥹

When Steph asked Linda to look after Lola at her sister’s wedding, it had nothing to do with Lumiere. It was because she trusted Linda with the most precious person in her life. That’s something we’ll never take for granted. 💜

People often think Lumiere is just a place, but it’s so much more than that. It’s a community where strangers become family, where lifelong friendships are made, and where everyone looks out for one another.

And then there’s Lola… 💜

I honestly think Linda has finally met her match! Watching those two together is like watching a competition to see who has the most energy, and somehow Linda always manages to keep up. I’m still not sure who’s looking after who! 🤣

It was Hobbycraft, a food wholesaler, slow cooking tomorrow’s lunch for Lumiere, printing and sorting our new menus, restocking the snacks (thanks, Melody 💜), dropping kids off, forgetting half the shopping, a last minute Costco trip… then my car broke down because it ran out of AdBlue 😭. And of course, a full Jaxon meltdown because he wanted something he couldn’t have.

Just another ordinary day in our world.

But what makes this video so special isn’t me… it’s my three babies.

As another school year ends, I know so many families will be celebrating and looking forward to summer. 💜

But for so many families, this time of year brings a lot of mixed emotions.

The last four months for us have been very different, Jaxon has been at home with us. Not because we chose this. Not because it was the plan. But because it was what he needed.

And honestly… it has been one of the hardest things.

I love my boy more than words can explain. He is my whole world. I would do anything for him.

But unless you live this life, it’s so hard to explain the reality.

Because being a parent to a child with more needs isn’t just the appointments, the support and the extra needs…

It’s the constant battle. 💔

It’s the worry that never switches off.
It’s the exhaustion nobody sees.
It’s holding it together on the days you feel like you’re falling apart.

Having Jaxon home has been beautiful, but is been hard.

There have been tears.
There have been moments I’ve felt overwhelmed.
Moments where I’ve wished life could just be a little easier for him.

Then I look at his smile.

My beautiful boy.

And I remember… I would choose him every single time.

Every battle.
Every worry.
Every sacrifice.

Because he is worth it. 💜

To every SEND parent who is carrying more than people see… I see you.

Behind every child is a parent fighting battles most people will never know about.

And we will keep fighting. Always. 💜

As another school year ends, I know so many families will be celebrating and looking forward to summer. 💜

Having Jaxon home has been beautiful, but is been hard.

There have been tears.
There have been moments I’ve felt overwhelmed.
Moments where I’ve wished life could just be a little easier for him.

Then I look at his smile.

My beautiful boy.

And I remember… I would choose him every single time.
