Lumiere Charity eGift Card – Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before purchasing or using a Lumiere Charity eGift Card (“Gift Card”). By purchasing, receiving or redeeming a Gift Card you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions

“Issuer” means Lumiere Inclusive Play & Sensory Centre (trading as Lumiere Charity), registered charity number 1206968, whose principal address is Unit 2C, Brookfield Drive, Fazakerley, Liverpool, L9 7AJ.

“Gift Card” means a digital voucher code issued by the Issuer, redeemable only for charitable donations via www.lumierecharity.org.

“Holder” means the person who holds a valid Gift Card code.
2. Purchase and Issuance

Gift Cards may be purchased online in preset denominations (£10, £25, £50, £75, £100, £150) or in any custom amount between £10 and £150.

Immediately upon successful payment, the Gift Card code and redemption instructions will be delivered by email to the purchaser or directly to the recipient, if an alternative address is specified.
3. Redemption

Gift Cards are redeemable only at www.lumierecharity.org/gift-card-redemption.

To redeem, the Holder must:

Enter the unique Gift Card code;

Select one or more current projects or campaigns;
-
Apply the available balance to cover the donation amount.

Any remaining balance will remain on the Gift Card for future use until expiry.
4. Expiry and Fees

Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

No fees of any kind (including activation, service or dormancy fees) will be charged against the Gift Card balance at any time.
5. Non-Transferability and Non-Refundability

Gift Cards:

They are non-transferable for cash or credit.

Cannot be exchanged or refunded, except as required by law.

Where required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable legislation, purchasers have a right to a refund of the purchase price within 14 days of purchase, provided the Gift Card has not been redeemed in whole or in part.
6. Lost, Stolen or Fraudulent Gift Cards

Treat your Gift Card code like cash.

The Issuer is not responsible for:

Lost, stolen or unauthorised use of a Gift Card;

Replacement or refund of any lost or stolen Gift Cards.

In cases of suspected fraud or misuse, the Issuer reserves the right to cancel the Gift Card without compensation.
7. Insolvency

Gift Card holders rank as unsecured creditors in the event of the Issuer’s insolvency.

If the Gift Card was purchased on a credit card and the transaction value exceeds £100, holders may seek redress under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. Holders of purchases below £100 may attempt to recover via their card scheme’s charge-back mechanism.
8. Alteration and Cancellation

The Issuer reserves the right to amend or withdraw these Terms at any time.

Any changes will be posted at www.lumierecharity.org/terms and will apply to all Gift Cards issued thereafter.

For material changes affecting outstanding Gift Cards, the Issuer will use reasonable efforts to notify holders via the email address on record.
9. Data Protection
Personal data collected in connection with Gift Card purchase or redemption will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at www.lumierecharity.org/privacy.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England. Disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
