Lumiere was born from the love of a mum and aunty who wanted more for families like theirs more understanding, more joy, and a true sense of belonging.
Our mission is simple..
To create a safe, inclusive space where children with additional needs feel free to be themselves, and where families feel seen, supported, and never alone.
We are here to challenge judgement, raise awareness, and build a community rooted in kindness, acceptance, and understanding because not every disability is visible, and every child deserves to be celebrated.
Jaxon’s journey continues to guide us, reminding us of the power of community and the difference that the right environment can make.

Linda is the co‑founder of Lumiere Charity, building the centre alongside her sister with a shared commitment to creating a safe, supportive space for children and families. As a trustee, she brings steady guidance, compassion, and a deep belief in inclusive community care. Her dedication continues to shape the charity’s values, ensuring every child is met with warmth, dignity, and opportunity.

Mellisa is the co‑founder of Lumiere, creating the centre alongside her sister with a shared vision of providing safe, nurturing support for children and families. As a dedicated trustee, she brings heart, leadership, and lived commitment to every aspect of the charity’s work, helping to shape a space rooted in compassion, inclusion, and community strength.

Natalie is a dedicated Deputy Manager and SEND Lead who ensures every child receives the support they need to thrive. Her calm, child‑centred approach and strong expertise in inclusive practice make her a trusted pillar of care within Lumiere.
